Project: EPT box (Gregory Terrace, Spring Hill)

Artforce Brisbane is a community art program that gives local residents the opportunity to paint their original artworks on traffic signal boxes throughout Brisbane suburbs. With some help from my family, I designed and painted a typographic exploration of Spring Hill, celebrating the suburb’s gridded layout, peaks and valleys, and its colourful, eclectic nature.

In 2022, we designed and painted a traffic signal box in Brisbane’s inner suburbs. Through bold block colour and typography, ‘Brisby Land’ represents the vibrancy of the river that weaves through our city and the life that happens on its banks.
