As part of GOMA’s ‘Fairy Tales’ exhibition, a set was designed to showcase lithographs from Maurice Sendak’s beloved classic Where the Wild Things Are, as well as costumes from the 2009 film adaptation. The space uses cardboard cut outs to recreate the far-off land imagined by Max, and references Sendak’s illustration style. Images courtesy of QAGOMA.
