In collaboration with the ‘Fairy Tales’ exhibition design team, a set was created to showcase the ‘sky’, ‘moon’ and ‘sun’ dresses from Jacques Demy’s 1970 film adaption of Peau d’Âne (Donkey Skin). Drawing inspiration from the illustration style of the movie poster, key moments from the film were reimagined, cut from MDF, painted, and layered to form a forest scene reminiscent of an open book.
